Collaborative Communication in Paediatric Oncology
6-Week Experiential Learning Programme
Time commitment: 2 hours a week for 6 consecutive weeks
Enhancing patient outcomes, professional effectiveness and hospital culture.
An experiential and innovative learning training programme designed specifically for healthcare professionals in paediatric oncology. Through evidence-based methodology, the programme equips participants with advanced communication skills to enhance patient care and improve team collaboration and avoid burnout.
Our team combines lived experience of the paediatric cancer journey with over 25 years of professional expertise in leadership, coaching, and communication. This dual perspective enables us to design training that is both deeply empathetic and highly practical for healthcare settings.
Our Mission:
To empower pediatric cancer care professionals with empathy-driven training that enhances their ability to connect with patients and families, improving both clinical outcomes and emotional well-being.
Training Components:
• Workshops and Seminars (In-person and virtual options)
• Conversation simulation practice
• Webinars and masterclasses
• Communication power skills
• Group Discussions
• Integrating Stories into Care
Our Goals:
•Address burnout to protect quality of care: High levels of stress and burnout in paediatric oncology compromise performance and patient care.
•Enhance clinical outcomes: Effective communication improves treatment adherence, safety, and shared decision-making.
•Elevate patient & family experience: Empathic care fosters trust, satisfaction, and better healthcare experiences.
