Who We Are
With over 30 years of experience coaching medical professionals, I bring a unique blend of linguistic expertise, communication skills training, and a deep understanding of healthcare culture from multiple perspectives. I began my career as a simultaneous interpreter at international medical conferences, which gave me an early insight into the communication skills gaps that exist across the healthcare system.
Today, I train medical professionals worldwide in communication and presentation skills that enhance peer engagement and patient understanding. Driven by personal experience, my mission is to amplify the patient voice and place clear, empathetic communication at the heart of healthcare practice.
I am a Chilean mother of a childhood cancer survivor, after that experience, I decided to devote myself to giving every child who is diagnosed with cancer the same opportunities to survive the disease. Today I am actively involved in local and global projects related to improving the quality of life of patients, survivors, and their families.
I serve as Vice President of Childhood Cancer International – CCI ; board member of Fundación Nuestros Hijos in Chile. I am member of the SIOP PARC Committee (Program for Advancing Research Capacity for Pediatric Cancer Clinical Trials) representing the interests of childhood cancer survivors and parents. I also serve as a member of the Experts Committees at Foundation S, for the My Child Matters Program.
